Veneers

Broward County, Boca Raton, and Fort Lauderdale – Porcelain Veneers

Many people are dissatisfied with their smiles, or do not realize the impact that their teeth have on the way they look. With porcelain veneers, however, all that can change in a matter of hours. Veneers are thin shells of porcelain placed on the front of the teeth that can effectively change the color, shape, and spacing of the teeth. They can also cover up imperfections in the teeth, and the porcelain mimics the luminescence of natural tooth enamel. Our practice, serving patients throughout the Broward County, Fort Lauderdale, and Boca Raton area, has seen that porcelain veneers are rapidly becoming one of the most popular cosmetic dentistry procedures we offer. Dr. Manon Bourque-Hutchison has the skill and experience to ensure dazzling results for her patients.

Why Choose Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain veneers can completely change the way a person’s smile looks, reshaping the individual teeth to create the desired results. Unlike veneers of the past, which sometimes had a black line between the veneer and the person’s gums, our porcelain veneers are nearly undetectable. When properly put in place, the porcelain looks exactly like natural tooth enamel, and the custom-made veneers are fitted snugly to the teeth. By covering the teeth, porcelain veneers can also hide cracks and chips in the teeth, and give them added strength as well. If well-cared for, many patents who’ve come to our Broward County offices report that their porcelain veneers have lasted for many years.

What to Expect

With two offices serving the greater Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale area, porcelain veneers have rapidly risen in popularity at the offices of Dr. Manon Bourque-Hutchison. The main reason is the dramatic smile improvements we are able to make with relative ease. The process of designing, molding, and placing porcelain veneers usually only takes two office visits. During the first visit to our practice, we start with a consultation, making sure to answer any questions a patient may have. We then perform a thorough dental examination and take a mold of the patient’s teeth, which we send to a lab where they custom-make each veneer. At the second appointment, we shave a thin layer off the teeth to make room for the veneers and attach them to the teeth using dental cement. The entire procedure usually requires little or no anesthesia, and patients walk out of the office with a brand new smile.
