Teeth Whitening at Our Office
At each of our Broward County locations, our practice uses the Zoom!® teeth whitening system for our in-office treatments. This system uses a whitening gel in conjunction with a special blue light to eliminate stains and discoloration from the tooth enamel, and usually whitens the teeth up to eight shades. The gel and the light are used for three 15-minute sessions, and patients usually spend not more than an hour total in the office. Also, the procedure is gentle, not requiring any anesthetic, and patients can return to normal activities immediately afterward. The results can last for months or years, if the teeth are well-cared for, though some patients return for repeat teeth whitening sessions if their dazzling smile begins to fade.
In-Home Teeth Whitening Options
For patients who wish to whiten their teeth at home, our practice serving the greater Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale area offers the Nite White® teeth whitening system. This consists of a series of plastic trays, filled with a whitening agent, designed to be worn while the person is asleep. Patients will generally see results after the first night, though the trays may be worn up to 14 nights for the maximum whitening effect. There are no dental appointments to keep, and Nite White® is less expensive than our in-office treatment.
